Le Loop 2018 - Stage 4: La Baule - Sarzeau

An out inland and back to the course; another opportunity for the wind to reek havoc, but with a tailwind out and a head/cross wind back a funny kind of day, where I, at one point, wondered if my garmin computer and my heart rate strap were actually in sync!! (Might have been I was more relaxed than I thought after my paddle in the sea!!)

The experience in the winds on stage 1 and 2 possibly came to bear today, people rode in groups, rotated well and as a consequence worked well together- a real sense of teamwork including shepherding the weaker members of the group where necessary.. but this is a strength of “Le Loop” (Tour de force). Everyone works to get everyone home.

Some lovely little villages, some little pastoral visages... as we ride we comment on the tour helicopter shots, picturing the things people will see in a weeks time.....

Tomorrow promises to be tough.... the one categorised climb today was a minor shock to the system... a proper little brute.... but lots of those on their way......
